The Honorable C. Judson Hamlin (ret.) and Keefe Law Firm Partner John E. Gregory, Jr. will participate in a panel at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlantic City. Each year, the NJSBA hosts the Annual Meeting & Convention, which includes speakers, networking and social events.
John Gregory and Judge Hamlin will speak in the Hot Tips for Hot Litigators Panel: Part 1. The panel will address recent case law that affects civil litigation practice. Judge Hamlin will also speak at the Civil Trial Bench and Bar Conference. This latter panel will discuss topics such as e-courts, in limine motions and how attorneys approach the bench.
Highly recognized attorneys, law professors and legal professionals in New Jersey participate in panels at NJSBA events. These panels address other topics, such as updates in the law, concussions in sports, effective communication skills for trial lawyers and career transition tips.
What Is Continuing Legal Education?
A major benefit of attending the Annual Meeting and Convention each year is that it allows attorneys to receive continuing legal education credits. Like other specialized careers, attorneys are expected to stay informed on changes to their practice. CLE panels can cover a range of subjects, some of which address highly specialized practice areas.
NJSBA’s CLE panels give New Jersey attorneys the opportunity to learn about changes from highly experienced legal professionals. John Gregory and Judge Hamlin are recognized as experienced and talented attorneys.
NJSBA hosts CLE panels and other events throughout the year. Networking events and other meetings are also held on a regular basis.
