September 17, 2018 (RED BANK, NJ)—Keefe Law Firm today announced that a plaintiff who sustained multiple injuries when the vehicle she was riding in was struck by a delivery van received a $1.5 million settlement under the Honorable Dennis F. Carey, J.S.C.
In early 2017, the plaintiff—a single mother as well as a foster mother, was riding in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that was battered when the driver of a delivery van attempted to make a left hand turn on a red light at an intersection in Wayne, NJ. This caused a massive crash resulting in multiple serious injuries to the plaintiff. These injuries included head trauma, fractures of the knee, tibia, ankle, sternum and both wrists. Due to this, the plaintiff, a school bus driver and primary financial support of her children, was unable to work for an extended period of time.
