Jason E. Shamy
Attorney Jason E. Shamy is Of Counsel to Keefe Law Firm, lending his assistance and legal experience in complex matters including cases involving serious, disabling injuries and business litigation matters. Mr. Shamy’s firm, The Shamy Law Firm, LLC has worked with our team on several significant cases in the past. These include cases involving defective products, industrial accidents, workplace injuries and commercial litigation matters.
Education and Experience
Jason attended the University of Maryland at College Park, graduating in 1990 with his Bachelor of Arts degree. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden in 1994, where he was named Dean’s Scholar for his academic performance He gained admission to the New Jersey, the United States District Court, District of New Jersey and the Pennsylvania Bars later that same year. While attending law school, he received American Jurisprudence Awards in Trial Practice, Advocacy and Torts.
Currently, Jason is the Municipal Prosecutor in the Borough of Deal and Interlaken and the Village of Loch Arbour in New Jersey. His past positions include Public Defender in the Township of Piscataway, the Borough of Jamesburg and the City of New Brunswick. He was also a Municipal Prosecutor in the Township of East Brunswick, and the Borough of Helmetta and the Borough of Bradley Beach.

As a New Jersey attorney, Jason’s practice areas include: personal injury litigation, real estate transactions and disputes, commercial litigation, zoning and planning matters, and appeals. He brings his extensive experience in civil and criminal trials to his position at Keefe Law Firm.
