Paul DiGiorgio, currently Of Counsel to the New Jersey employment law practice at Keefe Law Firm, is a seasoned lawyer with extensive civil litigation experience. He has also held in-house counsel, executive Human Resources, and other non-legal positions in private business. At our law firm, Paul primarily focuses on Wage & Hour and Prevailing Wage violations, as well as Consumer Fraud Class Actions.

Paul is currently investigating and litigating on behalf of underpaid workers for labor performed on restoration projects at the Jersey Shore after Superstorm Sandy. Recently, Paul has survived motions to dismiss in a nationwide class action on behalf of employees denied commissions owed by their employer.

Education and Legal Experience

After obtaining his B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University in 1987, Paul worked on Wall Street for a brief time. He then moved into the telecommunications industry, first as a product manager and then as a sales systems consultant.

Paul then attended Seton Hall University School of Law, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1993. After graduating, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Norris Harding, J.S.C. in the Superior Court, Middlesex County. Paul then entered the practice of law in the areas of civil defense and commercial, automotive financing, litigation.

In 1998, Paul accepted a Corporate Counsel position with an emerging technical support company in South Florida. While there, he also served as Director of Human Resources to over 5,000 employees, and as Director of Security. After an acquisition, Paul rose to U.S. Vice President of Human Capital Resources Management for the largest customer relationship management company in the world.

These positions provided Paul with a broad range of practical experience in a diverse spectrum of legal areas. His areas of experience include: employment law, compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts and employee compensation plans, and risk management. Paul has also owner-managed a golf course.

Since joining Keefe Law Firm in 2011, Paul has also been focused on developing and executing strategies for new business development. He also manages all class action discovery projects for the law firm. He has litigated and provided vendor management, data analysis and other support in several large and successful consumer fraud class action lawsuits and settlements.
